About the Pancake Princess: 10 facts

//1// Once upon a time, I was published in a book, permanently capturing all my teen angst for all the world to see.

//2// Favorite thing to bake: layer cakes (even though they are often lopsided and ugly).

//3// Because I recently developed a mild allergy to dairy and I don’t eat meat, I eat a mostly vegan diet except for eggs and fish.

//4// Aside from cake, I’m always craving: cornbread, burritos, sweet potato fries, runny eggs on avocado toast and all Momofuku cakes. I could normally care less about cookies, but not very much less.

//5// Dream job: Kenji’s job.

//6// I had a brief, wonderful, food-writing internship at the Houston Chronicle where I got to pen a few articles, get a peek into the food-writing world and bask in the tutelage of one of the most amazing food writers ever.

//7// In college, I co-taught a baking course focused on basic baking techniques and healthy recipe modifications.

//8// I once took a solo trip to Paris to study surrealist art (and eat my weight in croissants). I’m dying to go back. Current places topping my travel bucket list: Greece, Thailand, Iceland.

//9// I 100% like to pretend I believe in astrology.

//10// My favorite pancakes come from Baby Barnaby’s.

    Hi Erica,

    I see that you’ve installed our recipe plugin. Thank-you for this! Here’s a few pointers to get the most from it’s features.

    For SEO and Google’s Recipe View search results you’ll want to include an image with each recipes. You recipe images are awesome! You can add the one you’d like to use in your recipe card by going to the “Edit Post” then right clicking the image > select “Copy Image Address” > then paste this into you Meal Planner Pro placeholder. (Super easy once you add a few)

    Second would be to personalize your recipe box, shopping list, and meal planning calendar pages with your logo. Simply save a recipe, click the link to claim ownership, and follow instructions from there.

    That’s it! We’re always here if you need anything or have any questions.

    I saw your comment about wanting to go back to Paris. Talk to your roomie. You’re more than welcome for a week to use us as a Parisian base for your cuisine explorations this summer. Fixing us dinner one night would be more than enough in exchange!

      That would be so fantastic!!! I was telling Christina that I’m on the verge of booking a trip to London with my cousin this summer and we would love to take a trip over to Paris!

        Consider it a done deal, just let me know when. I’ll be at our flat in June and July this Summer, and I believe Christina is planning to be there some time in May. If we’re not there you can still use the flat.
