Ingredients
3heaping cups cauliflower florets
1/4teaspoonkosher salt
1/2teaspoondried basil
1/2teaspoondried oregano
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1tablespoonalmond mealoptional, adds a nuttier flavor
1tablespoonnutritional yeastplus more for topping
~1/2 cup tomato-based sauceI used pasta sauce from a jar, but you can easily puree a can of diced tomatoes with a little garlic, oregano and basil. So easy!
Process the cauliflower in a food processor until finely ground. Place cauliflower in a pan over medium high heat with approximately ΒΌ cup of water and steam for about 4-5 minutes or until water is mostly absorbed. Drain excess water. (Alternatively, microwave for 4 minutes.)
Let cauliflower cool while you assemble your toppings. Stir in remaining ingredients and top with sauce, veggies and more nutritional yeast. Eat!
